Life in the FAB LINE- its me babe

Sorry for no updates bois!

So far we enjoyed our holiday in Malaysia. A gathering, reception after reception and most important is we are accepted, it is a privilege. Beyond my imagination and thanks God.

I am quite nervous actually to introduce 2 important people in my life. But everything went great. Steve is happy for he has been accepted as part of my family and the adorable Sophie is happy with her new acquaintances.

I am busy for the last 2 weeks, right after coming back to KL from Seoul, Korea for the Conferences. was helping my good friend of mine.

Now we are back in Penang, to rather enjoy our remaining days here before going to Sydney, Australia by end of this March for another short holiday, about 3 weeks with our friend who live there.

I hope the weather are in the good conditions, back there.

I will continue writing but as for now, i need some rest, maybe my aged factor has made me tired and i am not as fast as i used to be long ago. I went to see my 1st cardiologist last week in Tawakal. I haven't meet Dr. C for long time, he advised me not to over work and not to hang out during hot day.

Ghee maybe Dr.C does not know that i am on my holiday. hehhhe.

I will continue my holiday program, no more work, conferences, consultation after this! keep it that way. Let me enjoy my day with my family.

How am i doing in Malaysia? 4

Very sudden last night around 2am morning, Hubby aka Steve wake me up! he never do that to me unless for ONE particular reason (ok clear all your thoughts).

What will you do if someone wake you up at midnight? do you feel horny (hello Nik), angry (you maybe) or blur (its mememe!)

So, whats up with my hubby! he whisper to me and said "Ling (short for darling) i am famish! could you prepare me those Malay's pancake you did in the morning. "Malay's crepe!" i reply...still blur. oh ok Sayang (it darling in malay) no problem.

Preparation 1, the batter mixed together with onion, anchovies, crab stick and flour with water and little bit salt for taste.


Then, scoop with spoon and fries it with hot oil.

You may dip it with tomato or chillies ketchup or special coconut gravy leftover.

Then, prepare it for my King aka Steve.

Then he kiss me and went to bed and sleep! and me...i can't sleep anymore...arggh

I am not lucky though! My hubby doesn't know how to cook or even fry an egg! so HOW? not that i complain but i love to cooks for my hubby and most importantly he likes my cooking. The whole satisfaction that i cannot resist even though the request is made after midnight!

let me start with my big rolling eyes!!!!how?

What a busy week for Steve and me, we were out from Penang and travel down to kl to pick up the lord granny plus her entourage whom are flying down all away from Toronto, Canada for Chinese new year.

buffet style - eat as much as you can!!!

There was a small party to celebrate granny at my father's house in Bukit Bangsar. A regular meet-up for all of us raging from different categories, 100% Chinese (KL & Penang cousins), 50% Chinese (like me and few other cousin who are Muslim and Christian), a bunch of ABC (American born Chinese) and long lost friends.

Granny is forever witty and at her best health ever. "Eat more vegetable "as she always nag, She is 90's this year.

So, i am obliged to cook all her favorites dishes, like Vegetarian curry puff, Chocolate Vegetarian Cake & Pineapple tart and all sort of Nyonya kuih . Suite me! i has become a house wife, so got nothing else to do, accept for cooking and baking! but i do it with all pleasure and happy to serve as it always reminisce of my late mother, whom favorites hobby is cooking for her family.

curry puff

I learn some from my her, some from my sister, part from my granny and a lots from my father. So guess if i am missing here in blog-sphere is for the reasons to pleasure some one tummy (many tummy). Granny insist to stay at our house in Balik Pulau. Breakfast as early as 6:30am and 10am, lunch somewhere else (lucky me) than back for high tea around 5pm and that is it! no dinner for her.

as for Steve and me, we were totally the other way of it. dinner at mamak's with family member at 10th.

and for tomorrow, i will serve laksa penang or penang rice noodle for the entire bunch of my family. (this delicacy should be cook and leave overnight to give extra flavor)

So, now i can adjourn and go to sleep. nightly night

so, petang tadi steve ajak pergi jalan jalan Georgetown dan ke batu feringgi. Asyik terperuk dengan internet marahnyer. Kata Cuti cuti malaysia! bila lagi...

So jalan lah bandar Georgetown, yang mek pun ingat2 lupa, jumpa hameediah dekat penang street, makan nasi kandar. Siap bungkus kari dan kurma lagi laki aku tu..

lepas tu mula lah acara finger licking good, wahh, cute sangat tengok cik abang jilat jari, ada snap2 gambar, tak kan mek nak tayang kat sini. nak bunuh diri...

Lepas tu mengadu panas, sudahlah penang ni tak hujan lebih dari sebulan,uhmm makan lagi kari tak hengat. so kami pandulah ke batu feringgi. kononnya nak duduk2 sambil post2 manja minum air kelapa muda. wah mek suka gituh.

Cerita punya cerita, kat sinilah bila tahun terjadi tsunami, risau juga kan mek sambil jalan2 ni tetiba wah tsunami cammana, amalan tak cukup, dosa banyak lagi, heheheh biasalah dok risau yang bukan2!!! kalah orang putih ok!

Steve tak suka mek dok ingat macam itu, kata dia as long as we pray to Allah, ask for his forgiveness and somehow repent and we obliged to His messages through Prophet, surely He will accept it. Although, all of us are sinner, we should acknowledge it to Him for forgiveness. wah semenjak laki mek tamat kursus fardu ain di NY, hidupnyer berseri saja. kowserkan statement.

How am i doing in Malaysia?

Wah! Mek telah selamat kembali ke Malaysia, seadanyer nyeh! So off my English tongue, dinch perlu itew semua, mek suker kerana mek bley menulis persis kepondanan (wah direct translation for queer katanyer) yang sejati.

Adalah kawan mek inie jumpa mek di hotel mek menginap sekarang, katanya "Uihhh janganlah cakap bahasa ponen! i maluu"

Aktiviti mek sepanjang seminggu berada di KL inie, makan2, lawat keluarga2, sahabat handai (tak ramai pun, adalah secupak dua yg bleh dibuat kawan, yang nak menjatuhkan bagai tu ramailah- EHEM2).

apa2 pun mek seronok, walaupun kat passport tu tertera

KB mek katanyer

Ada KB(kawan baik) mek dalam facebook tanya "tak kepoh ke kat Malaysia itew?, wah mek selamba jawab- tak da per2 pun, kami dok pi jalan makan2 kat pasar seni, bukit bintang segala, ramai jer orang, westerner dok jalan segala.

Agak mek kan "depa kata apa aku peduli!" lu punya pasal laaa...

hah jilat serupa hanjeng *jgn marah!!!

Minggu depan kami akan balik Penang, wah tak sabar, macam iniew bukan jadinyer nak menulis buku, mek mengisi perut yang ada dengan makanan yang maha lazat, ko jangan tanya laki mek itew, Cik Abang Steve ni pandai makan kari mamak tau, sampai jilat2 pingan.
